Six Word Saturday

I have been traveling a bit, so I haven't had much time for blogging.  I was in Albuquerque last week visiting family. The week before that I was in California visiting with my sister.  Next week I will be back in California, going to LA.  I really didn't have many photo ops in Albuquerque, but I did take a few pictures in California that I will share on tomorrow's post.

Traveling is fun, life is exciting!

Don't Mess With This Cactus...

This is a "Fishhook Cactus".
It is in the center of my cactus garden.
It has many hooked spines along with straight ones,
this is the one cactus you don't want to tangle with.
Fishhook Cacti bloom in July.
It's nice to know something can bloom in this 110 degree heat.

God Bless America ~ Let Freedom Ring

Happy 4th of July.

Nobody can sing "God Bless America" like Kate Smith could.

As a reminder, now, more than ever embrace your freedom and remember what our fore fathers fought for.  Read about the Declaration of Independence.

Go over and read Holly's post, I found it so moving and inspirational.

Enjoy your celebration and have a safe, happy and blessed 4th of July.
