Family Fun!

First of all, it was Grandson's birthday, he turned 6. His Uncle left work and came over to help celebrate it. He was greeted by a gazillion piece toy to put together, he didn't give up until it was done!

Here is my daughter in law and my Baby Grandson, who is 6 months old today, they just sat back and enjoyed the day!
It was a great weekend! Now on to my hectic and busy week.

Yard Sale Today

Today I am having a yard sale. I have been up since 5AM getting it all ready.

Here is my little helper, he was so excited

Wisely, I sent him off to school.

Yesterday's Visit

Yesterday, Jeff and I visited my son and his wife. Really we went to see the Baby Grandson.

Tiny Bouquet

Every time my Grandson goes out to play he comes in with flowers for me.  This weekend he picked these tiny wildflowers out of the front yard.  I put them in a little glass (it is only about 2" tall) and made this sweet little bouquet.

Grandma Was the Babysitter...

Last night I was the babysitter while my grandson's mom went to run errands.
Well, he told me he was going to go get a pencil to write with and I said ok.
About 15 minutes later he showed me his art work and it wasn't in pencil at all.
I don't know where he got the red marker, but more was on him than on the paper.
He had it on his hands, face and his toes were completely covered!
His mom put him in the bath immediately (she came home right when he was showing me the art work.) I swore that I did not give him the marker, my grandson and I are both banned from red markers. We will see, I am the grandma after all and my job is to see that we have fun.
