It's Monday ~

Yesterday's clouds...they were so light and fluffy, almost close enough to touch.

The sky was bright blue and it was in the high 60's, just a perfect Arizona day!

No, I'm Still Here...Just Been Busy

Wow! How the time has flown by. It is already September 6! One of my dearest friends posted a comment on my 'Facebook' wall last night mentioning how she missed my beautiful sunset pictures on my blog. I haven't been out to photograph a sunset for a long time. Starting this week I will take the time and make an effort to get out at sunset for a photograph. In the meantime here is a picture of the moon I took on August 2. Boy, I really am behind.

Summer in Arizona

My favorite time of the year in Arizona is Monsoon season.  The thunderheads build up, the wind starts blowing and then the rain pours down.  This can happen in a matter of minutes. 

 Yes, they can be dangerous so it is best to take precautions when you are in a Monsoon.

Last night the wind kicked up and blew in a whole bunch of clouds.  

Right above my house was this cloud with a  beautiful rainbow in it. 

 I take it as a sign that good things are coming my way.

June Sunset

Last's night sunset was so pretty.  

The sky was so blue and the clouds fluffy and

scattered all around.

The hot temperatures are giving us a break this week,

it is going to be lower to mid 90's all week.

Slow Saturday

I am feeling a little slow this morning, slept in until 8:30.  

I think I will take it easy all day today and do little or nothing.

That sounds like a plan I can live with.

Sunset...Arizona style

Can you stand yet another sunset picture?  

The sky was so gorgeous last night, it looked like someone painted it.  

I couldn't resist running in to grab my camera and catch these beautiful shots. 

This was around 6:30 last night, it was probably about 74 degrees outside.

Cloudy Monday...

It is cold and cloudy here again today. Last night there was the most gorgeous sunset after it had rained most of the day.
I took these pictures from my front yard one facing west and one facing east. You can see the moon peeking out from behind the clouds in the picture facing east.
