I took this picture of the giant majestic Saguaro cactus 

that resides in my neighbor's yard at sunrise yesterday morning. 

It is home to Quail, Woodpeckers, Love Birds and a lot of other birds.

Bird's Nest Among Thorns

As I was walking around my yard this morning looking for new blooms on the cactus, I found this bird's nest deep in the middle of the Staghorn Cholla.

Victory Garden

I have been reading a lot about people planting "Victory Gardens".  I love gardens but I am not much of a gardener, and in Arizona it is very difficult, though not impossible to grow a lush thriving garden.
I will be sticking to my cactus garden for now, it requires very little work. I will have plenty of beautiful blossoms and no food items, but I think I can live with that.
